Fitou

Fitou is a very pretty village especially in the summer when the local residents' window boxes and plant pots are full of colorful flowers. Fitou is a very friendly village situated on the D50 a very scenic little road off of the N9. On some of the houses you will notice very ornate flourishes on the end of the drain pipes; porcelain fish in different colours. You can stop for a drink at the friendly Cafe Chez Denis 04 68 45 73 33 and maybe share your biscuit with the dog, a gorgeous Great Dane! There are a couple of places to eat, Restaurant Auberge De La Tour 04 68 45 66 90 or Restaurant Lou Courtal Des Vidals 04 68 45 62 58.
