Bages 11

Bages is on the very scenic D105 off of the main N9 road. It is a place of great beauty with picturesque narrow streets leading up to the town square where you will be rewarded with magnificent views out over the etang. There is a pleasant cafe in the town square and a couple of good places to eat, Restaurant Les Beaux Arts 04 68 42 55 66 and Restaurant Le Portanel 04 68 42 81 66. All along the edge of the water are many different types of birds and small boats whose fishing nets are left hanging in the sun to dry. Definitely well worth spending some time to admire the great scenery.
